Türkiye’s COP31 legacy proposal
Within COP31 Antalya (2026), Türkiye proposes GOMD — the Global Ocean & Maritime Data Governance Platform to ground marine protection and the blue-economy transition in science.
It does not replace existing observing systems; it is a complementary digital ecosystem that connects fragmented international data infrastructures through interoperability and the FAIR data principles.
